- How early should I arrive to my appointment/session?
We welcome you to arrive 5 -10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time, please be aware that we have multiple activities in the showroom + hot shop daily, coming earlier than the suggested time may pose as an interruption.
-What happens if I am unable to attend my appointment?
You may send someone in your place (in most cases), if possible please email to give us a heads up. See our cancellation policy for full details (also provided at time of checkout when booking online).
-How soon after my session will the item I made be available for pick-up?
Your creation(s) will be available for onsite pick-up starting 16-48 hrs after the session, check listed pick-up times or schedule an appointment, please pick-up within 60 days.
-What are the recommendations for participants in terms of safety and what to expect?
-A signed waiver is required for participation, under 18 needs parent/guardian consent.
-We recommend drinking water before, during, and after (we keep a pitcher of water in the fridge but you may want to provide sports drinks, water, etc for your group to keep them hydrated)
-Other recommendations: wear natural fibers, tie back loose hair, sunglasses (protective eyewear will be provided), and closed toe shoes (critical for classes/lessons specifically)
- For Private Workshop Sessions: we welcome you to bring in snacks/drinks, we will provide table(s) for your spread at your request.
-What is the best way to contact the studio or the owner (Chris Skibbe)?
Email is the best method of contact, either through the website contact form or sent directly to , booking is available 24/7 online. The owner/artist Chris is mostly in the hot shop working with molten glass and unable to answer the phone, for commission requests and other inquires please send an email.
