The Glass Spot is the only public access hot glass studio in the Richmond/central Virginia area. Our main goal is to provide the hot glass experience while bolstering the glass community and glass enthusiasm in general. Family owned and operated since 2007.
We offer several levels of instruction from workshops, to classes, and studio rental for advanced glass workers, we are dedicated to teaching, creating and promoting the art of glass.

Owner/Artist Chris Skibbe began working with glass in 1997 and received his BFA from VCU in 2005. He currently manages the studio, teaches, and creates his own artwork: chrisskibbe.com
