The Glass Spot is central Virginia's premiere public access hot glass studio. Our main goal is to provide the hot glass experience while bolstering the glass community and glass enthusiasm in general. Family owned and operated, established in 2006, open to the public since 2007.
We are dedicated to creating a space that invites professionals and the general public to be part of our local glass community. The Glass Spot offers several levels of instruction from workshops to intensive courses, and also provides studio rental for advanced glass workers.

Owner/Artist Chris Skibbe began working with glass in 1997 and received his BFA from VCU in 2005. He currently manages the studio, teaches, and creates his own artwork: chrisskibbe.com
